Such an awesome weekend. After a tough year and a half of COVID-19 it was the perfect way to relax and make new board gaming buddies. Loved every second of it
Sept 2021
Was an excellent event, made every effort to ensure gaming could happen easily despite the COVID issues, looking forward to next year.

It was an excellent event. In part because it was 18+ months since a previous event, but this focused on playing rather than shopping or something else, was excellently positioned (the fact we could take a walk to Tesco and various restaurants was a HUGE boon) and has the potential to be my favourite event - if it isn't already

I really enjoyed my first KCON. A well-organised event with a friendly atmosphere and a great team of volunteers.

Great global atmosphere, many new friends, it's what a Con is about :)

Friendly people, fun games, and a fabulous time.

Very well run event that I really enjoyed, bring on KCON 2022

As last year, lots of fun and very friendly & stress-free. VERY well supported by the crew.

Having never been to formal board game convention before, I was a little apprehensive however I had a fabulous time, people were friendly and welcomed absolute beginners. I had fun playing games I'd not heard of before and I would love to go to another KCON event. Bonus I won a prize in the raffle!

The attention to detail and the care provided by the organisation team at a very challenging time was like a huge hug in a darkened cave. The space was provided to safely game in a manner not thought possible at the time. The organisation was thoughtful, inclusive and creative and left many feeling like it had been set up exclusively for them with their own needs and anxieties managed and catered for. At its heart, this is a gaming convention that revolves around people more than the games themselves, this is a fantastic approach to take.

The venue and organisation were conducive to an enjoyable but controlled mingling and allowed people the opportunity to introduce them selves to others and join games.... The badges encouraged this (on introducing myself to one group i allowed them to tick off the "meet someone who is here for the beer task")

I found it very well organised & people were happy to comply with COVID restrictions but still got an immense amount of enjoyment.

Lovely event, small numbers and feels personal yet kept safe with lots of room and precautions in place.

I liked the bear sticker.

KCON was marvellous despite Martin "Look at them Guns" Cubberley. 10/10. Bring a pointy stick."

It was top.
I add a clear extra point to any event.
