What/Where/When
KCON 2021 is a small and friendly board gaming event that will be held at Kents Hill Park in Milton Keynes between Friday 27th and Sunday 29th August 2021. It is our second year of running and this year we will be offering all the things we wanted to last year, but couldn't.
Last year saw us successfully run a COVID secure, government compliant charity event (in between lockdowns) for 80 gamers. This year with gathering restrictions being lifted and the vaccine rollout in full swing, we are excited at the prospect of being able to offer this year's event in less challenging circumstances.
As with last year, we will be following science and the guidelines to ensure that this event can run as safely as possible. You can be assured of a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere where you can focus on getting your game on.
Tickets will be available as single day or weekend tickets with additional option for unlimited tea/coffee service (at cost). Ticket prices purely cover the anticipated cost of the event rooms, relevant insurances and staffing costs and any profits made from the event will be used to benefit our charity partner (https://youngminds.org.uk/)
The onsite accommodation including bar and restaurant, along with free parking, means that your gaming experience can continue for as long as you can.
As is usually the case with open gaming events, guests are encouraged to bring along their games to play however, a small games library will be available for general use and we will have a small retail and exhibitor offering available onsite. Full games library and event schedule are to be published closer to the event.
