The main event spaces are situated on the ground floor of the venue and are wheelchair accessible. There are accessible toilets and refreshment stations a short distance from the gaming area.
Accessible parking is available onsite.
We are offering quiet gaming spaces for those that would like to use them. Please check signage and speak to a member of the team if you require help.
Should you have any specific accessibility requirements please contact us to discuss.
We will be providing a managed Bring and Buy this year.
The Bring and Buy room will be open for purchases between 10am and 5pm Friday and Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sunday during the event.
We will be accepting cash, cards and PayPal this year, with sellers selecting their preferred methods of payment for each game entered.
Card and PayPal processing fees will be at the Seller's expense.
Sellers will need to register each game entered into the Bring and Buy system ahead of the event.
There are ticket options available for children and sensible children are welcome on site. Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times.
All children require their own named ticket to be admitted.
We request a 1:1 supervision ratio for those under 10. We may be able to make accommodations if that presents issues.
Child guests will be required to wear a wrist band with contact details of their guardian.
Many. Do we know what they are yet? No!
Last year we had a combination of events including a quiz, raffle and dinosaur themed 'experience'. There will be more of that. Obviously.
If you have specific dietary requirements or are feeding children then you are permitted to bring snacks on site.
Please bring your own refillable water bottles to stay hydrated.
Water is provided to all ticketholders at no cost.
We will be operating a tuck shop during core hours where snacks and merchandise can be purchased.
The site respectfully requests that substantial meals from outside of the venue are not brought up to the event suite.
Yes, you are doing it right.
Yes to any of these points is going to be a problem for us.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your behaviour is unacceptable (and no refund will be given).
The team has discretion to issue warnings in the first instance.
KCON is staffed by a small team of volunteers working throughout the event to serve your various needs. Volunteers will operate the registration desk, run demos, facilitate the Bring and Buy and retail experiences. Our wellbeing team will be ensuring that you have a great time and resolve your general guest queries.
If they're wearing a KCON volunteer lanyard and tshirt, please do approach them for help.
Volunteer applications for 2022 are now open.
You may transfer your tickets to another person without penalty. Please use the contact form to request and provide the details of your order number along with the full name and contact details of who will be replacing you.
Transfer of tickets rather than cancelling for a refund helps us out as we lose out on Paypal/Stripe fees when processing refunds.
To arrange transfer of hotel rooms you will need to contact the venue separately.
For the first time, this year, yes!
Payment via cash or card. All admittance is subject to ticket availability. Please check before you travel.
On the door tickets are issued at a higher price point to tickets purchased in advance.
Essentially yes, up to a point. There will be a sliding scale. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
Please see our full policy in the policy section at the bottom of this page.
We are a pro-vaccination and pro-testing event.
We maintain that current government guidelines are not guidelines that keep people safe.
We will have bespoke guidelines issued in September which should present no issue to the majority of sensible humans.
Admittance to the event may be restricted or withheld if you are unable to satisfy our safety requirements.
